Tata Tiago bookings open, launch on March 28
From Zica to Tiago
There was a lot of interest in the automobile market when Tata took the wraps off its upcoming hatchback, the Zica in 2015 December. But, shortly after the unveiling, Tata was forced to change the name of the car as it shared its name with a deadly virus – Zika Virus - that has affected millions of people.
The launch
In February 2016, Tata rechristened Zica – the new name, Tiago, was decided via public voting. Tata Tiago will finally be launched on March 28.
Exterior
The Tata Tiago looks different from the standard entry level hatchbacks. It is a blend of a conventional hatchback with the new age tall boy design thus looking appealing with its sporty design and aggressive low stance The signature smiley grille at the front looks good with the spearhead-shaped swept back
